Lincolnshire V Hunger is a project created by an existing Lincolnshire based charity (Shepherd Food Ministries) who believe that it is a basic human right for people not to starve in the 21st century.
In 2000 the United Nations set a target to reduce poverty & hunger by two thirds - this objective has not been met.

Shepherd Food Ministries is holding an event on 24 Sept 2016 @ The Showroom, Lincoln.
On the lead up to the event next year all schools in Lincolnshire will have the opportunity to showcase an arts project linked to the ‘Lincolnshire v Hunger’ theme.
All proceeds will go to charity to support local initiatives to reduce hunger in Lincoln via the Lincoln Food Bank and SFM's ongoing initiatives to reduce chronic hunger in Nigeria, Africa.
